GROMO


GROMO is a research project developed at Centre for Genome Research of Department of Microbiology and Biotechnology Centre, The M.S.University of Baroda.

Overview

As a part of GROMO project a comprehensive database has been developed which integrates various data from computational analysis of genome of phytopathogenic fungus Magnaporthe oryzae responsible for causing rice blast disease in Oryza sativa. GROMO provides comprehensive information of this fungal genome analyzed using various bioinformatics tools.

Current version of GROMO not only contains data from genome-wide expression analysis (EST, SAGE, MPSS), pathway based information, information on mutants created but also helps predict various domains, protein interactions, localization, sumoylation sites etc.

User can submit any valid new information available about genes and proteins of M.oryzae using the format given: Click here to download the format.
